(2005)

Organisation:
CCT - BIPM

Contact person:

BIPM project started 2005. Bilateral Key Comparison following up key comparison CCT-K2. Temperature: 24.5 K to 273.16 K. Transfer devices     capsule-type standard platinum resistance thermometers

Partners: CNR-IMGC, NIM

EUROMET 772:
Use of heat-pipes as new temperature standards for contact thermometry

Organisation:
Istituto di Metrologia 'G. Colonnetti' (IMGC)

Contact person:
A Merlone

EUROMET 3 year project started June 2004. Collaboration aimed at the realisation and/or circulation of a prototype of “Temperature Amplifier”, based on two coupled GCHPs with the dedicated furnaces, initially of mercury and sodium. The results will be fundamental for the proposal of a possible different future definition of the ITS using this new temperature standard for contact thermometry, namely in the temperature range between the present ITS-90 Al and Ag fixed points

Partners: CNR-IMGC, NPL, UME, IPQ, INM-BNM et al

EUROMET 714: Inter-laboratory comparison of water triple-point cells

Organisation:
BNM-INM / CNAM

Contact person:
E-mail

EUROMET project started January 2004. The goal of this comparison project is to assess the uncertainties associated with the practical realisation of the triple point of water in the various European laboratories. This project is the reactivation of projects 278 and 549 in which respectively twelve and fourteen countries took part

Partners: BNM-INM, METROSERT, MSA, SSRIM

EUROMET  809: Inter-laboratory comparison of PRT calibration and evaluation of uncertainty budget

Organisation:
Metrosert (University of Tartu) - Estonia

Contact person:
E-mail

EUROMET project started August 2004. Inter-laboratory calibration of Platinum Resistance Thermometers by comparison method at several temperatures in the range from -30 °C to +400 °C. Analysis of the measurement results will be conducted by participating laboratories

Partners: Metrosert, MSA-NMS, LNMC
