1. evitherm thermophysical properties database

Link to evitherm thermophysical properties database is accessible after you login to evitherm. After logging in, click on the User area link in the left menu and click on Finding data page.

2. Nelfood database

Go to "My profile" on your User page and click on "Property data". From there you will be led through the process of buying access at a specially discounted annual rate. Following the purchase you will be able to access data subsequently by clicking on "Property data" in the left-hand menu of your User page.

3. Databases outside the evitherm data scheme

If you know the material and thermal property(s) you require and you want to search databases straight away then click on the required hot-linked data source in the table below.

If the data sources below are indicated under the Access heading as "pay" that means when you click on them you will be taken to the data source website and have to pay for access to the data in the normal way for that data supplier. You will NOT need to pay evitherm anything for access to these data.

Are the data relevant to the application?

You may find values for the thermal conductivity of alumina or the emissivity of steel but there's a wide spread. Why? See evitherm advice on choosing data.

Cannot find the data you need?

Your choices are as follows:

Old and battered but these volumes of the famous TPRC data books are a key reference for thermophysical properties data. Now these data and more are available online from CINDAS via the evitherm data scheme.

Provide your own data!

You have made thermophysical property measurements in your own laboratory or taken data from the literature that are not available in a database.

Data mask for entry of thermal property data into the evitherm database.

In either case you can send these data directly to evitherm. The data will be reviewed and, if accepted, published in the evitherm database. This is the quickest way to make data available to the public in advance, in parallel, or instead of publishing in a scientific or other journal. To enter your data please download the evitherm data mask (MS Excel spreadsheet, 200 KB).
